Low profile solution for Two Rivers

2007 Feb 13

Low profile conditions are typical of South Africa?s platinum mines, and the tight conditions require specialized LHDs such as Atlas Copco?s Scooptram series.

The new Two Rivers platinum mine in South Africa?s Mpumalanga Province is gearing up for full production by 2008. It is anticipated that the mine?s annual output will be 120,000 oz of platinum, in addition to 68,000 oz of palladium and 20,000 oz of rhodium, derived from a total extraction volume of 2.2 million tonnes per year.

Epiroc operated under the trademark “Atlas Copco” prior to January 1, 2018.
