Atlas Copco: new underground rock drills

Atlas Copco launches new and modified underground rock drills and stopers. The company introduces a range of silenced light rock drills for underground applications. A modified rock drill has passed the ATEX process and now fully complies to ATEX directive. Two versions of a new heavy-duty stoper are introduced.

Eight Atlas Copco heavy-duty hydraulic attachments working on a major demolition site in Rutesheim

A total of eight Atlas Copco hydraulic attachments are used by FWA Fischer Weilheim Abbruch GmbH & Co KG (FWA) resident in Weilheim-Teck for demolishing the former company site of the Drescher printing works in Rutesheim. Now that the Rutesheim approach to the A8 freeway is completed, the site has become an attractive housing and commercial area that will be completely cleaned up and redeveloped this year.

New breaker ventilation for tunnelling applications

At Bauma 2010 Atlas Copco launches a new carrier-integrated breaker ventilation system for tunneling applications. The ventilation system that delivers additional air is easy to install and minimizes the risk of extensive wear on hydraulic breakers.

Atlas Copco: Three new heavy hydraulic breakers with PowerAdapt and optimized power-to-weight ratio

On the occasion of the Bauma 2010 fair Atlas Copco are introducing three new heavy hydraulic breaker models with PowerAdapt and optimized power-to-weight ratio. The HB 2000 with its service weight of 2000 kg offers 10% more power than its predecessor, the HB 200. The new HB 3100 and HB 4700 with a service weight of 3100 and 4700 kg, respectively, deliver 5% and 13% more power than their predecessor models.

Atlas Copco introduces a new generation of LP 18 power packs

The 2010 generation power packs have a new design, where the top cover protects the engine well. It can easily be opened to reach the hydraulic parts as well as the air and oil filters when they need to be changed. All controls and connections are placed on the front panel, giving the operator easy access.
