Atlas Copco’s sales and service organization in the Ukraine was established in Kiev in 2002. Headed up by Johan Kempe, a Swede, the company now also has local offices in Krivoi Rog, Dnepropetrovsk and Korosten.

When Atlas Copco launched its new hydraulic drill rig for smallscale construction work, the advertisements happily announced “This Baby is Ready to Rock!” M&C can now report that the first “baby” in the ROC family is doing just fine – in the capable arms of its proud father.
