THE WINNING EDGE IN CANADA

2008 Aug 09

The roads to Toronto from Sudbury and North Bay pass through forests, over rivers and through rock. The region provides plenty of work for Ontario-based contractor Castonguay G.P. Here, in the rugged terrain of southern Canada, ROC D-Series drill rigs are playing a key role in the company’s success.

Castonguay G.P. operates some 60 drill rigs in Ontario from a total fleet of 115. Although rigs from several manufacturers make up the fleet, Atlas Copco?s Radio Remote Control ROC D7 RRC and ROC D9 RRC are the operators? rigs of choice. President and General Manager of Castonguay?s Ontario operations, Bruno Dubé, says: ? We get the jobs no one else will take.? And the Radio Remote Control rigs are a big reason for that.

Epiroc operated under the trademark “Atlas Copco” prior to January 1, 2018.
