ROC D7 on track at Oman’s mountain challenge

2007 Jul 24

In two major road construction projects in the Sultanate of Oman, the contractor CCC (Consolidated Contractors Co Oman LLC) has chosen six Atlas Copco ROC D7 drill rigs to cut through rocky hill barriers under tough conditions.

The 35 km-long Bjwr Bandar-Jissat Witti (BBJW) road will bypass Muscat, the congested capital of Oman. The route will cut through high, rocky hills to link two existing roads to the Baj Resorts and replace old roads in poor condition.

Epiroc operated under the trademark “Atlas Copco” prior to January 1, 2018.
